Nia’s Non-Profit

Street Cred

Nia Rennix, also known as “Annie” has been a leading expert in the non profit sector for over 15 years working with top level organizations in NYC, Philadelphia, and DC. She has helped design programs, develop choice food pantries for organizations with budgets exceeding over $10 million dollars to smaller organizations with modest budgets. No job is too small or too big. Nia’s passion has always been to work with and advocate for those who do not have a voice. She believes that the key to any successful non-profit are resources, passion, and a can- do attitude.

Nia realized her love for non-profit organizations by chance after being asked by a college professor who was so impressed with her skills in the classroom to join her multimillion dollar organization after she graduated from college. What an honor and something that could not be turned down. After spending over a year there, Nia learned that she had a knack for strategic thinking, program development & implementation, and team building. It was something that didn’t go unnoticed by her boss and colleagues. Eventually, she branched out and started working for non profits whose mission was to combat food insecurity and end hunger. This was right in her wheelhouse due to her degree in clinical nutrition and health policy. After successfully starting her own nutrition & wellness consulting company, The Rennix Weigh in 2005- Nia continued working with nonprofits and consulting them on food program development and implementation, the client choice pantry model, grant support, non- profit rebranding, and team building.
